The performance of ministries is constantly assessed and, if necessary, the persons responsible for other portfolios will also be replaced, said Prime Minister Dorin Recean, according to whom the Government heard the voice of the citizen expressed in the elections and analyzed the performance of each ministry. He noted that, for now, there is no reason for dismissing Dumitru Alaiba from the post of Minister of Economy and Digitalization. Despite the security crisis in the region, the Republic of Moldova has witnessed economic growth, IPN reports.

"It is important for the Government to deliver public services. My objective, as head of the Government, was to identify the changes that need to be made, after which the decision who will implement these changes followed. I will be able to say whether or not I am satisfied in a few weeks, when these changes will occur or not. The evaluation of how the ministries and the public service work is constant. At this stage, we made these reshuffles. When necessary, there will be other reshuffles. We must not focus only on the Cabinet reshuffles. We ordered to make an analysis of the performance of the agencies attached to the Government so as to see if resignations are necessary there. I know that the expectations were very high and we could have changed the entire Cabinet of Ministers, but we decided what changes should be made and in a few weeks we will see if these changes were enough or if they should be continued," Premier Recean said in the program "Black Box" on TV8 channel.

The official also explained that the decision not to dismiss Dumitru Alaiba was taken based on the progress report. Despite the war in Ukraine, which scared investors, the Republic of Moldova has seen economic growth.

"It is very important to look at the figures. Even in difficult conditions, when we have a war on the border and investors do not want to come here because they are afraid, given that we had to face budgetary constraints, we have achieved economic growth, we have achieved debureaucratization, we have achieved the digitization of public services. It is necessary to change the way we communicate what we do. The volume of investments has increased, consumption has increased. We see an upward trend in exports," stated Dorin Recean.

Daniela Misail-Nikitin replaced Adrian Efros as Minister of the Interior. "We have heard very well what the citizen wants. And we analyzed every point of the dissatisfaction expressed by the citizens. We analyzed each ministry. At this stage, we changed the persons in charge of three portfolios. When necessary, the persons responsible for other portfolios will also be changed. When necessary, I will intervene and replace ministers. The police did a very good thing. But in the Ministry of Internal Affairs there are other subdivisions that must also be brought up to this standard of the police. We also have the Border Police, the Migration and Asylum Inspectorate and other subdivisions that need to improve their performance. Mrs. Misail-Nikitin has very good experience in this field and she will ensure the accomplishment of the objectives we set," said Premier Recean.

On November 19, Vladimir Bolea, Daniela Misail-Nikitin and Ludmila Catlabuga took the oath of office as ministers. Vladimir Bolea became Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Daniela Misail-Nichitin was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs, and entrepreneur Ludmila Catlabuga took over the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
