Boxer Dorin Bucșa has won a silver medal at the Under 22 European Championships held in Russia’s Vladikavkaz, IPN reports.
In the final of the 60 kg weight class, Igor Untilă’s pupil lost to Russia’s Khamzaev Beslan. In the previous rounds, the pugilist from Hâncești beat his opponents from Croatia, Germany and Belarus.
In the semifinals of the 64 kg class, Alexandru Paraskiv lost to Alan Abaev of Russia and won bronze. At the U-22 European Championships, Moldova was represented by eight boxers.
