The National Integrity Authority (ANI) has filed a lawsuit against MP Marina Tauber. ANI initiated an asset verification process for the deputy after receiving a complaint regarding donations she obtained throughout 2023. The former member of the "SOR" party, now an independent deputy, allegedly received donations amounting to approximately 70,000 euros, IPN reports.
Following the examination of her asset and personal interest declaration for the 2023 fiscal year, Marina Tauber was found to have received donations worth $43,000 and €26,000. According to ANI, the money was provided by "third parties," with no clear information about its origin.
When contacted by IPN for a response, member of the Parliament Marina Tauber stated that she would issue a reaction. However, by the time of publication, no response had been received.
