CS Djoker Chisinau scored a 8-7 victory against the Spanish team CF LA Nucia in the last match of Group I of the Euro Beach Soccer League, IPN reports.
The goals for Djoker were scored by Andrei Negara (four), Leonid Podlesnov (two), Vitalie Budigai, Ruslan Istrati and Sergiu Nicolaichuk. In the Portuguese city of Nazare, Moldova’s champion played another two games, but lost these. Djoker was beaten by BSC Vybor of Ukraine 1-3 and by Yesil Ercis Belediye of Turkey 3-6.
Djoker scored three points and qualified for the playoffs. In the 1/16 finals, Moldova’s champion plays the current holder of the Euro Beach Soccer Cup Braga Portugal in the evening of June 5.
