CS Djoker Chisinau were eliminated from the beach football Euro Winners Cup, taking place in the Portuguese resort of Nazare.
In the 1/16 final, Moldova’s champions were defeated 0-14 by the current Cup holders Braga (Portugal). In the group stage, Djoker prevailed over the Spaniards CF LA Nucia and were defeated by BSC Vybor (Ukraine) and Yesil Ercis Belediye (Turkey).
Djoker fielded a team that included futsal players like Andrei Negara, Leonid Podlesnov, Ruslan Istrati or Sergiu Nicolaiciuc.
