Info-Prim Neo analysis Diversification is the key word the government and business environment use a lot. At Governmental meetings, in the Parliament, at the presidential tribune, during press conferences, in researches etc there is said about the necessity of diversification. Diversification in industry and agriculture, diversification of the energy area by using untraditional sources, diversification of the export markets and of the export supply, diversification of the economy in general. The economic development objectives also need diversification. About diversification is discussed for a long time and the Russian bans first to the import of fitotechnic products than meet imports and finally the Moldavian wines, has put this problem at the top of priorities. In order to reach the diversification objectives, Government must ensure two essential conditions for this project: strategies that correspond to the announced objectives and a favourable environment for investments and business development that can contribute to the diversification of the economy and exports. Even if the “wine crisis” put “on fire” the whole Moldavian economy, at the moment the Government does not solve once and for all the problems that appear. Both, the prime-minister Vasile Tarlev and the president Vladimir Voronin mentioned about the need of going on other markets than the Russian one but no actions have been made for this. Our ministers delay to elaborate a good plan for the diversification of the export markets and adopting the necessary laws for this. It delays to invite the businessmen to participate in this process. The last year events placed the Republic of Moldova on a different reality level, one that imposes to reformulate the previous politics and strategies. On one hand the raise in price of the natural gasses, process that will continue, makes vulnerable some economic areas. For example the energetic area that must raise the production costs, great network losses etc. Modernization and the development of the energetic infrastructure will raise the economy as a whole. On other hand the Republic of Moldova has a small number of export markets and of export products structure that is based on two or three industries. The Government must facilitate the development of new industries to stimulate business opportunities regarding the export or capable of substituting imports. As many experts state the Republic of Moldova must create a more favourable investment climate than in the neighbour countries. And these objectives can be reached only through well directioned politics that would be coordinated with the business and investment environment. The investment process must be liberalized and the legislative framework must be bettered. The conclusion is one: reforms must be expanded, implemented fast nad qualitative
