The leader of the national men’s volleyball championship Dinamo MAI Chisinau suffered the first defeat the current season. The team trained by Valentin Pereu lost at home to Dinamo Tiraspol 2-3, IPN reports.
The current champion started well and led by 0-2. It seemed that the team from Tiraspol secured the victory, but the hosts managed to draw. In the end, Dinamo Tiraspol emerged victorious. Despite this defeated, Dinamo MAI remained on top and is one point ahead of Dinamo Tiraspol.
The third position is taken by USM-Bostavan, which beat Zidarul Nisporeni 3-1 in the fifth round. Elsewhere, Speranta-Gagauzia defeated UTM-Politeh 3-1.
