The team of the State University of Moldova USM took an important step towards the qualification for the final of the national men’s volleyball championship. The team trained by Alexandru Dudicov won 3-2 against current champion Dinamo-MAI Chisinau away, IPN reports.
USM won the first two sets, but Dinamo won the next two. The students of Valentin Pereu were leading by 10-7 in the fifth set, but USM ultimately won by 15-13.
The team of the State University of Moldova still needs one more victory to qualify for the final. The next encounter was scheduled for April 29. Astra Chisinau and Tighina will duel in the other semifinal.
