A new digital display screen was placed in front of “Gheorghe Asachi” High School, at the intersection of 31 August 1989 and Alexander Pushkin streets in the capital city. It has a solar panel and autonomous lighting. By scanning the QR code, the person is redirected to the digital map www.travelant.org indicating all the tourist attractions of Chisinau in the area, IPN reports.
On this interactive platform, people can find all the places of interest of the city, including hotels, restaurants, cafes, historic and cultural buildings, events and also numerous other attractions, such as recreation centers, parks, youth centers and others.
Another such board installed in the pavement can be found at the entrance to “Mihai Eminescu” Square on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard.
The project was carried out on the initiative of the Chisinau City Hall, the Visit Chisinau platform and the TravelAnt team.
