Moldovan judoist Denis Vieru took the bronze medal the the Budapest Grand Prix, IPN reports.
Vieru had five wins in the 66 kg category, before surrendering to Israel’s Yarin Menaged. Vieru then successfully fought two Mongolian judoists.
Two other Moldovans, Dorin Goțonoagă and Nicon Zaboroșciuc, will compete in the 81 kg category at the Budapest event.
