The deadline for the submission of project proposals for these to be financed through the Program of Country Reintegration Activities for 2024 was extended until March 11, IPN reports.
The projects are be implemented in localities situated in the Security Zone and are to contribute to achieving the country’s reintegration desideratum, solving of strategic problems and problems with major community/regional impact and projects that will essentially improve public services.
As a priority, activities and initiatives that will focus on the promotion of the respect for fundamental human rights, supporting of institutions located in the Security Zone, modernization of ferry infrastructure, improvement of efficiency of public services, health care and other actions that can contribute to the achievement of the governmental objective of reintegrating the country will be examined.
The competition to collect project proposals was launched on January 10 and the initial deadline was February 26.
