The capital's authorities have not set the day when the Christmas tree will be inaugurated, but they assure that the festive fair will be traditionally opened on december 1, IPN reports.
The mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, announces that the inauguration of the Christmas tree is planned for early december. "We hope to be able to inaugurate it at the very beginning of december, but we will come back with details in the coming days", the capital's mayor said.
The "Christmas Village" fair will be set up in the Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theater. Visitors are expected from december 1, 2024 until january 5, 2025, between 10:00 and 23:00. On New Year's Eve the fair will be open until 03:00.
The NOBT square will feature 18 booths, a stage, sound equipment, lights, LED screens, tents, a French carousel, a mini autodrome and a slide.
Set installation began on november 11 and dismantling is scheduled for January 16, 2025.
