Moldovan international Danu Spataru will play in the second league of the championship of Russia. The 23-year-old halfback signed for Olimpiyets Nizhny Novgorod, IPN reports.
His new team ranks 12th after 25 stages. Spataru will play alongside Igor Lambarschi, who has Russian nationality as well. Olimpiyets is trained by the former coach of the national Under-21 football team of Russia Nikolai Pisarev.
In his career, Danu Spataru also played for Zimbru, Astra, Dinamo and CSM Iasi. In 2014, he won Moldova’s Cup.
