The ex-captain of the national Under- 21 football team of Moldova Danu Spataru continues his career in the championship of Romania. He signed a two-year contract with CSM Politehnica Iasi that is trained by his former coach at Zimbru Flavius Stoican, IPN reports.
The 23-year-old fullback last season played for Dinamo Bucuresti. In his career, he also played for Zimbru and Astra Giurgiu. Together with Zimbru, he won Moldova’s Cup in 2014, managing to score a goal in the final against Sheriff. Spataru has played five games for the national team of Moldova.
Poli Iasi this summer also signed goalkeeper Alexei Koshelev and halfback Alexandru Vremea. The last season, the team finished seventh in League 1.
