Romania will further support the European road of the Republic of Moldova, which is a strategic partner and a reliable friend, Romania’s Ambassador in Chisinau Daniel Ioniță stated in a meeting with outgoing Prime Minister Pavel Filip, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The officials disused the ongoing joint projects and the projects that are yet to be implemented. Among the bilateral projects of major interest, there were emphasized the building of the Ungheni - Chisinau gas pipeline, interconnection of electric power lines, development of infrastructure and abolition of roaming charges between the two states.
The Premier noted the implementation of the projects that were agreed by the Governments of Moldova and Romania and included in the Roadmap will step up further the bilateral dialogue. Pavel Filip said the Republic of Moldova continues to bank on Romania’s support, including while the neighboring state is holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
