The goal assumed by the Ministry of Education in 2025 is to convince 6 out of 10 high school graduates to choose universities in the Republic of Moldova, says the Minister of Education, Dan Perciun. This comes after in 2024, only 51% of all high school graduates in the Republic of Moldova stayed to continue their studies in the country, IPN reports.
"We aim to increase this share to six out of ten in 2025, an ambitious but achievable goal. The investments made in recent years and those we are planning are primarily for the purpose of having a convincing offer for our young people," said Dan Perciun in a press conference.
To give graduates the opportunity to discover universities in the country, meet faculty members, and visit recent investments in educational institutions, the national campaign "Study Moldova, Study at Home" will be launched in March.
