Dan Olaru ranks fourth at world tournament in Nimes

Dan Olaru finished fourth at the Nimes Archery Tournament after scoring three victories at the competition in France, IPN reports.

The 23-year-old athlete beat the Netherlands’ Rich Van der Ven, France’s Thomas Chirault and Slovenia’s Den Habjan Malavasic. In the semifinals, Dan lost to the future winner, Brady Ellison of the United States. In the match for the bronze medal, he was defeated by Germany’s Cedric Rieger, the third favorite of the competition.

The next world archery competition will take place in Las Vegas on February 7-8.
