Storms on Thursday and Friday caused damages in numerous locations across the country, with crops being particularly affected.
According to the Emergencies Inspectorate, trees were downed in Anenii Noi, Cimișlia, Strășeni and Edineț, and rescuers had to intervene in some locations. In Cimișlia town, a damaged tree risked falling over a utility pole.
Apple orchards and cornfields were also affected.
In Edineț, strong winds tore off roofs from numerous houses and other buildings.
Local emergencies commissions are continuing work to evaluate the damages.
