Dacia and FC Tiraspol fighting for second place

One stage before the end of the national football campership, the fight for the second place goes on, IPN reports.

Dacia Chisinau drew a derby match against Zimbru Chisinau 0-0.  FC Tiraspol profited from this result. It beat Olimpia Balti 7-1 and is now only two points behind the ‘yellow wolves’. In the final of Moldova’s Cup on May 26, FC Tirapol meets Veris Chisinau.

Sheriff Tiraspol scored a dramatic 2-1 victory against FC Costuleni. The decisive goal was scored in the last minutes of the game. After the match, Sheriff were conferred the 12th title won. 

The other matches of the 32nd stage ended as follows: Rapid Ghidighici – Academia Chisinau 3-1, Speranta Crihana Veche – Nistru Otaci 4-2.

The matches of the next stage will take place on May 31. Academia meets Speranta, Olimpia – Milsami, Zimbru - FC Tiraspol, FC Costuleni – Dacia, while Nistru – Sheriff.
