Having suspicions about the structure of the vehicle, the officers disassembled the glove compartment and discovered a specially created place with four black polyethylene bags inside. These were full with US bills with the nominal value of 50 and 100, totaling US$185,000.

The money and vehicle were seized. The man faces three to ten years in jail over smuggling. The legal entity is punished with a fine of 100,000 to 200,000 lei and is banned from performing a particular activity or is liquidated.
