Curteian makes public extended lineup for encounter with Sweden

Moldova manager Alexandru Curteian made known the extended lineup for the match against Sweden, of the 2016 European Championship qualifying rounds. The match will be played in Chisinau on March 27, IPN reports.

Curteian made practically no changes in the lineup for the game against Liechtenstein. Thus, the extended lineup includes: Ilie Cebanu (Mordovia, Russia), Nicolae Calancea (Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt, Romania), Alexei Koshelev (FC Tiraspol) – goalkeepers; Alexandru Epureanu (Istanbul BB, Turkey), Igor Armas (Kuban, Russia), Victor Golovatenco (Sibir, Russia), Petru Racu, Denis Rassulov, Iulian Erhan (all Milsami Orhei), Stefan Burghiu, Ion Jardan (both Zimbru Chisinau), Veaceslav Posmac, Sergiu Cojocari (both Dacia Chisinau), Maxim Antoniuc (Sheriff Tiraspol), Vadim Bolohan (FC Tiraspol) – fullbacks; Artur Ionita (Verona, Italy), Alexandru Gatcan (Rostov, Russia), Catalin Carp (CFR Cluj, Romania), Serghei Gheorghiev (Novbahor, Uzbekistan), Andrei Cojocari, Artur Patras, Gheorghe Andronic (all Milsami Orhei), Anatol Cheptine (Academia Chisinau), Vadim Rata (FC Tiraspol) – halfbacks; Dan Spataru (Astra, Romania), Alexandru Dedov (Zimbru Chisinau), Gheorghe Boghiu (FC Tiraspol), and Igor Dima (Saxan Ciadir-Lunga) – strikers.

The final lineup will consist of 23 players.

Moldova played against Sweden five times and were every time beaten.
