Cristian Diaconescu will arrive in Chisinau later than planned

Romania’s Foreign Minister Cristian Diaconescu will come to Moldova with delay. His plane was to arrive in Chisinau at 09.20, but because of the unfavorable weather conditions it took off from Bucharest at about 10.00, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau. Owing to this delay, the minister’s program will start by one hour and a half later. The first event was to take place at 10.00, at the Consular Section of the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau, where there is to be inaugurated a new wing of the building. After lunch, the Romanian official will have a meeting with his Moldovan counterpart Iurie Leanca. After it, the two officials will give a joint news conference. The Romanian minister will also meet with Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Karpov and Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca. Cristian Diaconescu was invested as Foreign Minister on January 24. This is his first official visit to Chisinau.
