Criminal trio arrested by police

The Moldovan police have arrested three top members of a national and transnational drug trafficking organization, who are known in the criminal underworld as Dan, Doska and Buratino. Detectives uncovered at one of the suspects' homes a complex laboratory for illegal drug manufacturing, seizing narcotics valued at 460,000 lei and nearly 60 fake drug prescriptions, Info-Prim Neo learned from Adrian Jovmir, spokesperson for the General Police Commissariat. All three suspects were earlier convicted, including for drug offenses, and all of them are drug users. Now they face charges of large-scale circulation of illegal drugs, which carry imprisonment terms from 7 to 15 years.
