COVID-19 claims 20 more lives

Twenty people diagnosed with COVID-19 succumbed to the disease on November 3. The death toll in Moldova now stands at 1,838, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the victims are aged between 54 and 83. Most of them are from the municipality of Chisinau, while two are from the Transnistrian region.

The Ministry also reported 710 new infections, six of which were imported. Almost 3,000 tests were done today, 2,483 of which were primary ones.

As many as 778 patients with COVID-19 are in a serious state and 40 of them were put on a ventilator.

The number of persons infected with the novel coronavirus rose to 77,400. Of these, 18,200 are active cases.
