Cooperation agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova and Estonia was concluded

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova (CCI) and CCI of Estonia concluded on Tuesday, 21 March, a cooperation agreement, during the economic Moldovan-Estonian forum, organised on the occasion of the official visit to Moldova of the president of Estonia, Arnold Ruupel, accompanied by a delegation of businessmen of Estonia.
The agreement was concluded by the chairman of CCI of Moldova, Gheorghe Cucu, and the general manager of CCI of Estonia, Siim Raie, at the forum was present as well the president of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin and president of Estonia Arnold Ruupel.
Moldovan president Vladimir Voronin mentioned during the forum that economic relations between our country and Estonia have to be developed at a higher level, and it is necessary a cooperation regarding bank and IT sectors.
CCI chairman of our country Gheorghe Cucu said that the economic forum is important for our country, as it is needed deepening of economic relations between both states. According to him, the first meetings with the Estonian businessmen showed their special interest towards the goods produced in our country.
He mentioned that Estonia has a rich experience, built during the European integration process, has a very attractive legislative background for foreign investors, and the experience of this country could by implemented by public bodies of Moldova.
Representatives of 11 Estonian companies attended the forum.
