The outfit of the national football team of Moldova will have a new design. The Moldovan Football Federation launched a contest where each football fan can propose models for the outfit, IPN reports.
Under the regulations of the contest, the participants can place at most three colors on the equipment – red, yellow and blue. The Federation’s president Pavel Cebanu said a folkloric motif will be welcome.
The outfit will be sewed in Germany.
The participants in the contest can submit their models on the official Facebook web site of the Moldovan Football Federation.
The jury consists of Pavel Cebanu, captain and vice captain of the national football team Alexandru Epureanu and Alexandru Gatcan and two professional designers.
“The Moldovan Football Federation, together with the national teams, is taking a step towards the fans so as to be closer to each other and to help each other,” stated Alexandru Epureanu.
The contest will last until February 10. The winner will receive a mobile phone, a season ticket for all the official matches of the national football team in 2016-2017 and a set of the new outfit with the autographs of the footballers.
