Termoelectrica last week started to connect the consumers to the centralized heating system, based on requests made by housing stock managers and administrators of public institutions, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the heat supplier.

“So far, there were issued 1,037 passports for preparing the heating installations, of the total of 4,055. These facilities will benefit from heating during three hours of the request. We recommend preparing the engineering system inside the building beforehand and presenting the confirming documents to the local offices of Termoelectrica until October 10,” said the company’s director general Veaceslav Eni.

The dwellers of apartment buildings who have autonomous heating systems and own a heat meter can turn on the heating anytime and can regulate consumption according to necessities.

Termoelectrica supplies heat for heating and hot water all year round. All its mains have meters and this allow stopping and restarting heating in the building when necessary.
