Construction of houses for Nemteni and Cotul Morii flood victims under way

The works to build houses for the persons affected by floods in Nemteni and Cotul Morii villages began on August 23. Prime Minister Vlad Filat attended the official opening of the works in Nemteni, Info-Prim Neo reports. Forty of the 90 houses that will be built for flood victims from Nemteni will be erected by the foundation “Concordia”. According to the head of the building site Mihail Peatihachnyi, several dozens of team consisting of 4-5 persons each will be engaged in the construction works. 90% of the workers are locals who received special training. The Premier discussed with local workers, urging them to work conscientiously and in accordance with the plan so that the houses are ready by the start of winter. The place were houses for Cotul Morii residents will be built was filly prepared for construction. Vlad Filat said the villagers will be supplied with natural gas and water. There will be erected a kindergarten, a school and other social facilities.
