Constitutional Court will rule on thursday regarding the results of the presidential election

The Constitutional Court will examine on thursday, november 28, the complaint on the confirmation of the election results and the validation of the mandate of President of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

The session is scheduled for 10:00 AM. The Court specifies that only invited persons will be allowed access to the meeting room.

According to the minutes of the official tally of the presidential election results from November 3, adopted by the Central Election Commission (CEC), out of the 1,680,569 valid votes cast, 930,139 were received by the current president, Maia Sandu, supported by the Party of Action and Solidarity, while 750,430 votes were received by former General Prosecutor, Alexandr Stoianoglo, backed by the Socialist Party.
