The nongovernmental organization Concordia today invited its friends to celebrate its 20th anniversary. During a festive event held at the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau, beneficiary children were offered surprises. A fair with objects created by young people was also set up, and the young members of the association prepared an artistic program. Also, some impressive stories of children who grew up in the Concordia centers are presented.

The program was completed with the launch of a book illustrated by children and titled “The Adventures of Coki, the friend of the children”. Among the artists invited to the event is the performer Gabriel Nebunu. And among the guests of honor are Dr. Hans Peter Haselsteiner, and the Austrian Ambassador Stella Avallone.

The volunteer activity Concordia represents involvement in helping children at risk, disadvantaged families and the elderly who need support. The volunteer team consists of a network of 100 members from over 10 localities of the country. Each year Concordia is joined by new international volunteers.
