The composition of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau was changed. The Bureau will now also include a member of the Pro Moldova parliamentary group and one of the For Moldova group, IPN reports.

Shor Party MP Denis Ulanov proposed modifying the composition given that “significant changes occurred recently in the composition of the parliamentary groups.”

Pro Moldova MP Andrian Candu said that they will not delegate anyone for now. Those from For Moldova proposed Sergiu Sîrbu.

Deputy Parliament Speaker Vlad Batrîncea said that apart from the five ex-officio members of the Standing Bureau (Speaker and Deputy Speakers), there are ten more members. The parliamentary groups are represented proportionally. The Socialists have two members, while the others by one member.

Update /6:50pm/ After the last break, Vlad Batrîncea provided details about the Standing Bureau. He noted that the PSRM has four representatives, while the PAS, PPPDA, Shor Party, Pro Moldova, For Moldova and the PDM by one. Pro Moldova MP Andrian Candu said For Moldova is not a parliamentary group. Furthermore, it was created less than six months ago and does not have the right to have representatives on the Standing Bureau. Vlad Batrîncea replied that a group of MPs made an official request to the Parliament’s Secretariat, proposing this, and Parliament voted.
