The Moldovan companies will decide by themselves on the remuneration systems of their employees. The 'tariff system' will be compulsorily applied in the state budget-financed sector. The parliament adopted a series of legal modifications in the this respect on Friday, in the first reading. According to the new clauses, the companies are allowed to employ remuneration systems they find most adequate. The employer is to choose the remuneration method after consulting representatives of employees. The conditions are to be set in an internal regulation, part of the collective work contract. In case applying non-tariff systems, the minimum wage guarantee will be the minimum salary in the real sector of economy. The amount will be revised annually, depending on the development of consumer good prices, of the productivity rate at the national level and will be legalized through Governmental decision. Now the remuneration system is exclusively based on 'the tariff method of calculation', which provides for establishing salaries depending on the qualification level, the salary of the first qualification category, established nationally in the Collective Convention, which is actually the minimal guarantee of remuneration in the real sector.
