Companies of Moldova and 10 other countries participate in MoldAgrotech

The MoldAgrotech International Specialized Exhibition was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Moldexpo International Exhibition Center in Chisinau. The event brings together more than 60 participants from Moldova and 10 other countries, providing a platform for presenting innovations and technologies in the agricultural sector, IPN reports.

This year's exhibition marks 45 years, a period during which, according to the organizers, it has significantly contributed to the development of the agro-industrial sector both in the Republic of Moldova and in the region.

At the opening ceremony, State secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Sarban highlighted the exhibition’s role in modernizing and increasing the competitiveness of Moldovan agriculture: "MoldAgrotech is a vital platform for farmers, giving them access to the latest technologies, equipment and innovations."

Moldexpo Center director Zinaida Popa noted the large number and the increased interest of the participants in the event: "The presence of exhibitors from so many countries points to the relevance of the exhibition and its role in facilitating international cooperation."

This year's edition focuses on modern technologies for efficient agriculture, including state-of-the-art equipment, plant protection solutions, advanced irrigation systems and technologies for processing agricultural products. The companies participating in the exhibition are from Bulgaria, China, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary.

For the first day of the exhibition, the organizers announced a direct dialogue session with the Minister of Agriculture about the mechanisms of preferential lending to farmers.

MoldAgrotech takes place over four days, offering visitors a varied program, adapted to the needs of professionals working in the field. The purpose of the event is to develop the agro-industrial sector through the exchange of experience, presentation of the latest innovations and facilitation of strategic partnerships.
