Communist parliamentary group returns to sittings

The Parliament on September 9 opened the autumn-winter session by playing the national anthem. After being absent for about six months, the parliamentary group of the Communists Party returned to the sittings, Info-Prim Neo reports. The September 9 sitting is attended by 95 of the 101 MPs. The agenda includes a number of proposals for amending the Election Code, the Penal Code, the Broadcasting Code, the Law on the State Flag and the Law on Diplomatic Service. The four new MPs who entered the Parliament after being substitute candidates are also attending. These are Ana Vasilache and Stefan Uratu of the Liberal Party, Vladimir Rotaru of the Democratic Party, and Grigore Cobzac of the Liberal Democratic Party.
