The Communist MPs who returned to Parliament after a pause of about six months, in the first sitting of the autumn-winter session on September 9, demanded calling the minister of the interior, the minister of agriculture and the minister of economy to present reports, Info-Prim Neo reports. Victor Catan, Valeriu Cosarciuc and Valeriu Lazar are to report on the criminal situation in the country, the wine and fruit embargo and other economic problems. Asked by reporters to comment on the date of the early legislative elections, the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin said he is in favor of holding the elections on November 21, after a 60-day campaign, as the governing alliance proposed. The former head of state said the Communist MPs returned to the sittings to 'bury' the ruling alliance and pave the way for electing a new Parliament.
