The Communist parliamentary group, which is the largest one with 34 seats, had 127 absences in the spring and autumn sessions of Parliament. Most of the absences were due to medical leave and because the MPs asked for permission not to be present at sittings, IPN reports.

According to the Parliament’s report, the 31 Liberal-Democrats in 2013 had 122 absences, the 16 Democratic lawmakers had 57 absences, while the 12 Liberal MPs had also 57 absences.

The eight unaffiliated MPs had 65 absences, 14 of which were unmotivated.
