Commercial activity on basis of entrepreneur license will be prohibited

Till 2009 the commercial activity on the base of entrepreneur license will be prohibited. The Parliament will approve on Friday, June 2, a draft law at the request of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC). The project was criticized by the opposition MPs. According to the minister Valeriu Lazar, the commercial activity on the base of entrepreneur license brings prejudices to the individual enterprises and big firms. The activity on the base of the entrepreneur license violates the rights of the consumer, declared Lazar. He said that till 2009, the activity on the bas of the entrepreneur license will be prohibited, and these persons will have the possibility to create individual enterprises and limited liability companies. On the base of the license only the commercialization of own products and offering services will be possible. The project was criticized by the opposition MPs. Valeriu Cosariuc, “Moldova Noastra’ Alliance deputy said that the activity on the base of this license is not a problem for the economy of the state, but for the big companies, which according to him, “are linked with the representatives of the state institutions”. Through this draft law, the government wants to eliminated all the concurrency, stated the MP. The draft law was approved in first reading with the votes of the communist MPs.
