As of July 16, transfers have been made in full amounts to payment service providers to pay all types of social benefits destined for families with children, the National Social Insurance Company (CNAS) reported.
About 19.1 million lei has been transferred to pay childbirth allowances to 3,021 mothers.
Child care benefits payable to insured parents (until the child turns 3), in the amount of 80.2 million lei, will reach 45,827 beneficiaries; and child care benefits payable to uninsured parents (until the child turns 1½-2 years), in the amount of 27.6 million lei, will reach 38,255 other beneficiaries.
Another 58 million lei has been transferred to pay maternity leave benefits to 2,439 mothers, and 1.3 million lei to pay paternity leave benefits to 298 fathers.
Other social benefits have also been paid in full, including 1.295 billion lei for pensions, and 39.8 million lei in social aid benefits.
