The social insurance contract can be concluded and signed online, announces the National Social Insurance House. People who take individual insurance in the public social insurance system will have to pay 20 518 lei for 2025. In the case of owners or lessees of land the fee is 5226 lei per year, IPN reports.
Those who opt for the method of online payment and signing the social insurance contract must have an electronic or mobile signature issued by an accredited provider in Moldova.
According to the CNAS, the contract cannot be concluded with persons who receive pensions in the public social insurance system, as well as with persons who realize insured income during the periods in which they apply to be insured by contract.
The period for which the social insurance contract has been concluded is the insured period which is included in the contribution period for the purposes of determining the old-age pension and death grant.
