C.M.C. to submit new list of beneficiaries of facilities for preferential bank credits

/ The directorate for financial management and auditing of the Chisinau City Hall will submit a draft decision on issuing of guarantee letters for granting of preferential credits to some categories of population to the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) for approval. According to directorate chief Eugenia Ciumac, the draft decision includes 159 persons who will benefit of facilities for preferential bank credits, construction of private houses, building of dwelling place or purchase of apartments. Ciumac said that 988 guarantee letters for beneficiaries of facilities for preferential bank credits have been issued until now on basis of five CMC decisions. He noted that 619 out of 988 guarantee letters were issued for veterans of the war for territorial integrity and independence of Moldova, 222 letters for Afghan war veterans, 114 for veterans participating in the cleanup of the Chernobyl disaster, 24 for victims of rehabilitated victims of political reprisals, 4 for citizens who cannot come back to their permanent residence from political reasons, and 5 for World War II veterans. CMC examined the draft decision this week.
