The business entities and public institutions from the eastern districts of the country will be able to further perform clearance procedures when crossing the joint border crossing points Pervomaisk-Kuchurgan, Goianul Nou-Platonovo and Novosavitskoe-Kuchrurgan. The Cabinet extended the time limit until January 31, 2023, IPN reports.
The period was extended for performing customs procedures without levying import or export duties and without applying economic policy measures on condition that the goods remain on the territory that is not controlled by the constitutional authorities.
Also, until full joint border control is implemented at the Novosavitskoe-Kuchrurgan point, oil products imported into Moldova can be cleared through the Bender-2 customs post until January 31, 2023.
The previous deadline was June 30, 2022. It was extended in a move to identify viable solutions for all the importers from the eastern districts of Moldova to be registered with the Public Services Agency, as the authorities noted.
