The energy vulnerability degrees will be assigned by the information system starting with November 26. The citizens will find out their vulnerability degree at the end of November or the beginning of December by accessing the personal account on the platform compensatii.gov.md. At the current stage, the system only validates the information included in the application. If mistakes are identified, the citizens are informed to correct the data, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

Under the Regulations approved by the Government, household users can file applications online on compensatii.gov.md if the main source of heating is the centralized heating system, natural gas or electrical energy, or the stove that works based on solid fuels, such as coal and wood, and they benefitted from cold-month allowances the previous winter season, or if the main source of heating is the stove that works based on solid fuels and they are entitled to cold-month allowances for the next winter season.

The households whose main source of heating is the stove or boiler that works based on solid fuels, but they didn’t benefit from cold-month allowances last year must go to the local social assistant to be helped to submit an application. From Monday, November 20, the persons who are in such a situation can also seek help from the librarian or the specialist of local unified public service centers.

If the applicant indicated the stove or boiler that works based on solid fuel as the main source of heating, but the application is not validated by the system, this needs to go to a registrar to have the application completed.
