The citizens can file applications for criminal records through payment terminals and can pay for these the same way. The Ministry of Home Affairs said that such an option was requested, with the possibility of completing the mandatory blank spaces by the people, IPN reports.
The submission and payment of the applications for criminal records through payment terminals became possible as a result of cooperation between the Information Technology Service of the Ministry of Home Affairs and a company that manages a network of multifunctional payment terminals. This way, it is now possible to file the application in an automated way and to pay for this at all the payment terminals in Moldova.
Earlier, the citizens had to go to the Ministry’s Information Technology Service or to district police inspectorates to submit a written application to which the sales slip was attached and to come the next day to collect the requested certificate.
