A red alert was issued for Cimișlia district in connection with the spread of the novel coronavirus. It was ordered to close the markets, barbershops and beauty salons. The schools and kindergartens in Cimișlia town will be closed on October 12. The decision was adopted by the local extraordinary public health commission, IPN reports.
The cultural, recreational, sports, social, religious and other kinds of events were banned. Weddings, christening ceremonies and other types of parties cannot be held. The barbershops and beauty salons, dental offices and markets in Cimișlia town and in the villages of Selemet, Batâr, Sagaidac, Gura-Galbenei and Troitskoe ceased operations.
The gas stations, auto examination stations, car washes and car repair shops can work. The building materials stores can deliver products at home.
The early and general education institutions in Cimișlia will switch over to online learning, while the education institutions in rural areas will continue to work with the physical presence of students, but will make sure to minimize the risks of infection.
It is banned holding commemoration meals in all the villages of Cimișlia district. The religious meetings can take place only in the open air, by maintaining the distance of 2 meters between persons. The participants in church services are obliged to wear face masks.
Moldova so far has got almost 60,000 cases of COVID-19, with the death toll from the disease standing at 1,424. Nineteen persons died from COVID-19 in Cimișlia district so far. As many as 684 infected persons are under medical supervision.
