Chisinau to hold two-month greening campaign called A Tree for Our Enternity

Chisinau will hold a two-month campaign called A Tree for Our Eternity. According to the press service of the Chisinau City Hall, about 66,000 trees and bushes will be planted in the period concerned. More that 10,000 trees and 12,000 bushes will be planted in parks and streets. The association for the administration of green areas will hold the ecological campaign A Tree for Our Eternity in cooperation with district praetor’s offices and the social-ecological directorate of the Chisinau City Hall. Earlier, ad-interim mayor of Chisinau Vasile Ursu has said that about 45,000 trees aged 5-6 years will be planted this year. At the same time, approximately 9,000 poplar trees will be cut this year in line with a plan approved by central authorities.
