The municipality of Chisinau will receive a grant to the value of €18,800 for actions to sensitize to the necessity of obeying the physical distancing and hygiene rules in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The trilateral project “Together against COVID-19 - Mannheim - Chisinau - Cernăuți” has a budget of €49,000. The money is provided to the three cities from the funds of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, IPN reports.
The project will last until June 30, 2021.
The cooperation agreement between the three cities forms part of the program “Partnership Projects for Sustainable Local Development” (NAKOPA) that is financed by the Engagement Global GmbH, the Service Agency Communities in One World (SKEW) with funds from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.
