Chisinau remitted to the national public budget almost 2 billion lei from the beginning of the year

The State Fiscal Inspectorate of the Chisinau Municipality accumulated 1 billion 775 million 529 thousand lei for the National Public Budget in the first 4 months of 2006. This sum exceeds by 2% the planned index and by 24% for the similar period of 2005. The head of the inspectorate, Procopie Duca declared at the operative meeting of the Mayoralty that in the named period 714 million lei were collected, by 4% more than it was planned or by 27 million lei (24 %) more that in the same period of 2005. Also, the accumulations’ level in the municipal budget was exceeded by 11 million lei or by 62 million lei compared with the similar period of the last year. Totally, the local budget collected 396 million lei. Duca told that at the social insurances budget were collected 574 million lei, the plan being fulfilled 100% and for the budget of the obligatory medical insurances were collected 90 million lei with 5 million lei more than planned. On 1 May 2006, in the Chisinau municipality were registered 729 803 economic agents and 325 662 natural persons, payers of taxes on property.
