A simulation will be staged at the Chisinau COVID-19 Center housed by the Exhibitions Center “Moldexpo” on April 3 or in the first half of April 4. Afterward, this could be put into use, the Center’s manager Oleg Crudu was quoted by IPN as saying.
According to Oleg Crudu, the Chisinau COVID-19 Center is 90% ready. An epidemiological training seminar will be held today for the medical staff that will work at the center.
Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu said the center will ensure the real-time exchange of data with hospitals so as to know where available places are and to transport patients to these places, depending on their state of health.
About 700 beds will be prepared at “Moldexpo” for patients who are suspected or confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.
