The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will have a meeting on October 29. An ordinance to this effect was signed by Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, IPN reports.
In the October 26 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, CMC secretary Valeriu Didencu said the agenda of the meeting will include over 50 items. More issues were included initially, but, at the request of the pro-European alliance in the CMC, a part of these were withdrawn for additional consideration.
Among the subjects that will be examined on October 29 are the replacement of the Liberal councilor Gheorghe Galbura by Mihai Roibu, the regulations concerning the constitution and functioning of the Chisinau Municipal Council, the fulfillment of the municipal budget in the first half of 2015 and the composition of some of the commissions.
The councilors are to also consider the giving of the name of Eugen Doga to a Chisinau street and of the name of Constantin Tanase to another street, the placement of a commemorative plaque “Leonida Lari” and a series of land issues.
The meeting starts at 10am.
