Five metallic garages placed illegally at 29/1 Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd in Ciocana district of Chisinau were taken away on March 18. A number of 45 metallic garages located at the given address are to be removed overall, IPN reports, queuing the municipal administration.
There were 54 garages at 29/1 Mircea cel Bătrân St. Nine of these were taken away voluntarily by the owners in the course of last week. The decision to remove the garages in a voluntary way by March 14 expired. A square is to be set up at that address. The location was chosen by inhabitants of the district by a poll carried out online.
Under an order made by acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu, the municipality ordered to inventory the metallic and built-in garages located on public property by subsequently creating a register of metallic garages stated provisionally on publicly owned areas in Chisinau municipality.
